Printed PVC is a compact material, but it's still a surface that meets the world: placing it on the ground, sliding it under a desk, or pressing it against a sharp corner can leave more or less visible traces depending on the impact. Creases, on the other hand, often come from how you store it—for example, squeezed into a space too small for its shape.

Distinguishing between inevitable wear and tear and marks you can prevent helps you understand what you can actually avoid and what is simply part of the object's life.

Every Bagful is born with protection designed to better resist small everyday marks: it's not something you need to add, it's already there on the material from the moment the bag leaves the workshop. It gives it a better chance against light scratches, but it doesn't make it invincible: a sharp impact or rubbing against something rough can still leave a mark.

For small imprints or light abrasions that haven't affected the color, a soft, slightly damp cloth on the area is often enough, using gentle circular motions and then letting the bag dry away from heat. In many cases, the mark becomes less visible, even if it doesn't always disappear completely.

We don't use or recommend polishing products or fillers because we don't know their effect on the print: when in doubt, a damp cloth remains the safest choice.

When a scratch goes through the surface protection and directly affects the color, unfortunately, the mark remains visible: PVC is not an elastic material capable of "self-repairing," and there is no specific treatment that can erase it entirely. In these cases, the only realistic strategy is to limit the damage and prevent it from getting worse over time.

If you notice a deep scratch on a newly purchased product, or if you suspect a real manufacturing defect, the safest choice is to write to our customer service immediately, without trying DIY remedies that could risk compromising the material.

Set it down carefully. Avoid placing the bag on rough, wet, or dirty surfaces, especially on the bottom, which is the most exposed part. Don't overload it. Filling the bag beyond the capacity intended for the model puts stress on the surface at the points of greatest tension.

Store it in its natural shape. Avoid compressing it for long periods in spaces that are too small, especially if it's still new and the material hasn't settled yet. Keep it away from objects with sharp edges or zippers on other garments, particularly when carrying it in a suitcase or a larger backpack.

Small imprints, light creases, or surface marks after weeks or months of daily use are normal; they are part of the object's life. It's different if the color peels off, if the surface cracks without an obvious impact, or if a stain of a different color appears without a clear cause: in these cases, it's best to contact support for a check instead of trying untested remedies.

If you know you'll be using it intensely—daily work, crowded transport, frequent travel—it's natural to expect some signs of wear over time, regardless of the model chosen. More than the shade or the print graphics, the real difference is made by the daily care described in this guide.
