the bagful® workshop,
where every bag takes shape.

Every Bagful® is born here: a workshop in the Venetian hinterland where printed PVC is cut and sewn by hand. It's not a showroom — it's the place where we create our models, the final step before they end up in someone's hands on the city streets. Right next door, you'll also find the Bagful showroom.

cutting, sewing, inspection: it all happens here

We print the PVC and immediately protect it with a layer of varnish. Only once the material is protected do we proceed to cut the various components. Then the sewing begins: we assemble the pieces, add zips, buckles, and straps, and finally give the bag its shape. Before the product leaves the workshop, there's one last fundamental step: a careful check to ensure the stitching is finished and every zip runs smoothly.

Every cut and every stitch passes through the hands of expert artisans. Cutting the material requires a keen eye: you have to follow the design with precision, because an imprecise cut is immediately visible on the corner of a pocket or where two pieces meet.

why here, and not elsewhere

The workshop is located in the Riviera del Brenta, an area with a long history of manufacturing linked to leather goods and footwear. We don't claim that Bagful descends from that tradition — we work with printed PVC, not leather — but being rooted there matters: it means producing surrounded by a living artisanal culture, rather than in an isolated industrial area without roots.

Keeping production concentrated in a single territory means shortening the distance between the printed material and the finished product. Every step is guided by expert hands that know the material. This is why two examples of the same model may have small differences — a slightly different topstitch, a minimal fold — which testify to the artisanal nature of the project, not an imperfection.

the components that matter

Zips, buckles, and straps don't arrive already mounted on a piece ready to be assembled elsewhere; they are integrated right as the bag takes shape along our supply chain. It's a detail that matters more than it seems: the hands that mount a strap know exactly how the material reacts under tension, having it between their fingers day after day.
