how a bagful® is made,
from design to final stitching.

Before a Bagful® becomes the bag you carry every day, it passes through real hands, in a real workshop. It doesn't come off an automated line: it starts from a design, takes color on material that's still white, and reaches its final form thanks to those who stitch it, one piece at a time.

it all starts with an idea, not a material

Before any cutting, someone sat down to design a shape and a graphic to give it character. It's not a decoration added later: the model and the design are born together, as if the bag already existed before even touching the PVC.

Only when the design is finalized does it move to the next phase: printing on the roll, where the graphic designed on paper becomes material for the first time.

the color is born on the roll, not after

The PVC starts white, like a page yet to be written. On that roll, the designed graphic comes to life: the color enters the material before it becomes a bag, not after.

That's why the design never looks like it's just placed on top: it's part of the bag's skin from the beginning, and stays vibrant bag after bag.

from colored material to the bag's shape

Once colored, the PVC is cut into the shape needed: a base, sides, a pocket, according to the model. Each cut follows the design precisely, because a mistake shows immediately on the corner of a pocket.

After cutting, each piece receives a protective treatment designed to better resist the small marks of daily life: it doesn't make it invincible, but gives it a few more chances.

hand stitching, the longest step

Only at this point are the colored and protected pieces joined, and here time stretches: it's the phase that requires the most patience and the most hands. The sides are stitched, the base, the points where the straps attach to the bag.

It's also the moment when zippers, buckles, and rings come in, fixed exactly where the load will be felt most, in the same spots that will need to hold the weight of an entire day.

before leaving the workshop

Before a bag can truly leave, someone looks at it carefully: checks that the stitching is even, that the zipper slides without jamming, that the color has no visible defects.

It's a human eye, not an automated check, done by those who just stitched that bag with their own hands. That's why, from one piece to another of the same model, it's normal to find small differences: they're not a mistake, they're the signature of handmade work.

a short journey, from idea to stitching

Design, color, cutting, and stitching remain under the same roof, without passing from hand to hand between suppliers who only handle one piece of the work. We don't indicate precise production times, because they change based on the model and the workshop's workload at that moment: for specific requests you can always write to our customer service.

frequently asked questions
